I spent the majority of my weekend reading documents and watching vodcasts/listening to podcasts for the course. Whew! I am still not sure that I completely understand everything that I read, but I feel as though most of it is coming along (especially the concepts about Library/Web 2.0, blogging, wiki's, and social software. I'm still a little confused about the RSS Feed, so my goal for tonight is to master that!
On the other hand, the sheer volume of information/course requirements is quite overwhelming. I don't mind doing the work, but I am afraid that I may end up overlooking something!

Stephanie, I feel like I dont know if I have missed a part of our assignment or not. I feel I have done more steps than were necessary and it makes my head spin! The chat about the RSS feeds helped somewhat. Did I understand the part about the wikis as we are not creating a wiki but gatering information about which one we would use and why?
ReplyDeleteMe, three!! I hope I've done all the parts. I did create a wiki but we didn't have to. I was pretty overwhelmed when I went to wikimatrix. I did not know there were so many choices. I hope I chose intelligently.
ReplyDeleteI started out late and got confused with the subject moderation. Fatih finally got me on the right track. I just start clicking on everything, hoping I won't miss anything.
ReplyDeleteWell, I also create a wiki! I missed the Wimba chat...I got to my son's playoff game, and my laptop was dead! I tried to go to the archive, but couldn't find the chat (but found several others!). I am going to look again.
